The Ideal Place

The ideal place for reflection

Is a moment for deep craving

On life's longing for transformation

Mind, body, and soul are crying.

Looking East, the view of the backyard

Yonder is the newly barbered park

Police officers are always on guard

While music comes from the happy lark.

Southward, Cherry Blossoms are budding

Soon the flowers shall perfume the air

And the robins would be singing

Then life is worth living and fair.

 

Memories

 Come to think about it, dear guys

The falling rain is fun-tastic,

And listening to it, time just flies,

That the falling leaves are tree-refic.

When you clear the untouched patch of earth

You actually change the scenario,

Plow, harrow, and cultivate the dirt

Giving you a life-enhancing view.

Memories open a time to pray

Confessing on why I'm here, dear God

Help me clear the doubts, and let me stay

Love has its beauty and splendor

Delicately woven with joy

Her absence no one can ignore

And even Time cannot destroy.

Yes, joy for all the luck of Life

That she is with me forever

And no tears nor sorrow can wipe

Away love's undying ember. 

Joy is deeply planted in my heart

So nourished by the memories

That was built from the very start

And was beyond our reveries.

And the fires of faith keep on  burning

That we shall meet again someday

Because our Love is always yearning

For a lovely Anniversary.
